HAMMOND, Ind. – Purdue University Calumet head basketball coach Dan Voudrie added to his 2015-16 recruiting class with the recent signing of Roncalli High School standout Max Clifford.
The 6-foot-2 guard is a two-year letterwinner for the Rebels, averaging 9.3 points per game and 2.2 rebounds in his senior season. Clifford earned All-Marion County honorable mention accolades in his junior season, when he averaged 8.2 ppg and connected on 43 three-point field goals.
The son of Don and Sheri Clifford of Franklin, Ind., Clifford is a two-year letter winner under Roncalli Head Coach Michael Wantz.
"Max has been a go-to shooter for Roncalli High the last two years," Voudrie said of Clifford. "His ability to stretch the defense gives him an opportunity to fulfill an important role for this program."
Clifford plans to major in mechanical engineering at Purdue Calumet.
