Diversity enriches the department by encouraging dialogues between people with different experiences, beliefs and perspectives. In order to foster a climate that has a place for each person, the Purdue University Northwest Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) provides diversity training for students, faculty and staff on a periodic basis.
The Athletic Department has developed a Diversity Plan for Athletics and will continue working to ensure compliance with its commitment to diversity and increase awareness of the plan and its goals.
