HAMMOND, Ind. & WESTVILLE, Ind. – Purdue University Northwest head men’s soccer coach Ryan Hayes announced the team’s schedule for the upcoming 2018 season.
The Black and Gold host eight matches on Pepsi Field at Dowling Park, with its home opener against non-conference opponent Lewis University on Aug. 30 at 4:00 p.m. (CT).
Purdue Northwest then travels for a pair of non-conference matches with Truman State (Sep. 2) and Quincy (Sep.6) before coming home to play Illinois-Springfield on Sep. 8
The Pride will kick off its Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference schedule with back-to-back away matches against Northwood (Sep. 14) followed by another road contest with Northern Michigan on Sep. 16.
PNW will have a pair of home games with Saginaw Valley St. (Sep. 21) and Ashland (Sep. 23) before going back on the road for a four-game stretch.
The Black and Gold travel to Wisconsin Parkside on Sep. 28 prior to facing off with Davenport in Grand Rapids, Mich. on Oct. 3. The Pride head to Ashland on Oct. 5 before finishing off their road trip with Saginaw Valley St. (Oct. 7)
The Black and gold cap off the regular season with four home games, beginning with Wisconsin Parkside (Oct. 14).
PNW will host Northern Michigan (Oct. 19), Northwood (Oct. 21) and Davenport on Oct. 26 to finish off the regular season.
The Pride won three GLIAC contests last season, good enough for a fifth place finish in the conference and a trip to the GLIAC Postseason Tournament.
