HAMMOND, Ind. & WESTVILLE, Ind. – The Purdue University Northwest volleyball program led by head coach Julie Wiejak announced the team’s schedule for the upcoming 2018 season.
The Pride start off their season with 10 straight road games, beginning Aug. 24-25 when they travel to Kenosha, Wis. to face off with Bemidji State, Minnesota Crookston, Saginaw Valley State and Wisconsin Parkside.
PNW will then travel to Austin, Texas on Aug. 31, for a pair of games against Eastern New Mexico and Texas Permian Basin.
The Black and Gold will stay in Texas on the Sep. 1 to face off with Colorado St. and St. Edwards.
Purdue Northwest begins Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action on Sep. 7 against Northwood before traveling to play Ferris State on Sep. 8.
PNW opens up its home schedule against Wisconsin Parkside on Sep. 11, followed by a pair of road contests with Grand Valley St. (Sep.14) and Davenport (Sep. 15).
After home matches against Ashland (Sep.21) and Wayne State (Sep.22), the Pride go back on the road for games with Lake Superior State (Sep.28) and Saginaw Valley State (Sep. 29).
The Pride will be home for three straight matches, hosting St. Francis (Ill.) (Oct. 2), Michigan Tech (Oct. 5) ad Northern Michigan (Oct. 6) before heading to Indianapolis for a Crossover Tournament from Oct. 12-13.
PNW is on the road for four straight matches following the Crossover, and will end the regular season with home matches against Davenport (Nov. 2) and Grand Valley St. (Nov.3).
