HAMMOND, Ind. & WESTVILLE, Ind. -- The Purdue University Northwest Athletic Department hosts their third annual Fall Sports Festival at Dowling Park from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. This event will feature six of the Pride's sports teams in competition across all their fields. Women's Tennis, Men's Tennis, Softball, Baseball, Women's Soccer, Men's Soccer will all compete.
In addition to the games, the festival will feature a number of other family-friendly activities, including a t-shirt giveaway, performances by the PNW Cheer & Dance teams, inflatables, Leo the Lion and more! Admission is FREE to everyone and the gates open at 11 a.m.
Dowling Park is located one mile southeast of the PNW Hammond campus, east of Kennedy Avenue and just north of Interstate 80/94.
The women's and men's tennis teams will both compete against Judson University (Ill.) starting at 9 a.m. at Community Hospital Tennis Complex. The men’s soccer team hosts Illinois Springfield at 10 a.m. for a regular season match-up at Pepsi Field with the women's soccer team hosting Southern Indiana at 12:30 p.m. CT. Also kicking off the start of the Fall Sports Festival will be the Pride softball team taking on Danville Community College at Fifth Third Field at noon while the Purdue Northwest baseball team will also host a game at noon against Muskegon Community College at Albert’s Diamond Jeweler’s Field.
