Men's Hoops Set to Face GVSU on ESPN3 Thursday Night

HAMMOND, Ind. -- The PNW men's basketball team (6-15) begin another trip east Thursday night as they travel to Allendale, Mich. to take on the Grand Valley State Lakers (12-9). The game will tip-off at 8 p.m. following the women's game. 

LAST TIME OUT

The Pride were defeated 86-74 in Westville by the Northern Michigan Wildcats. Dean Tate led the Pride with 18 points and four assists. 

SCOUTING THE LAKERS

Grand Valley State enters Thursday's game with a 12-9 record, and are 6-7 in conference play. In their last time out, the Lakers pulled an upset over No. 7 Ashland 60-53 on the road. Hunter Hale leads the team with 18.0 points per game and 3.0 assists per game. Sophomore Jake Van Tubbergen puts up 14.3 PPG and pulls down 6.9 rebounds per game.
