The mission of the Purdue Northwest Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is to enhance the total student-athlete experience by promoting opportunity for all student-athletes, protecting student-athlete welfare and fostering a positive student-athlete image.
WHAT IS SAAC?
The student-athlete advisory committee is a group made up of representatives from each sport that is assembled to provide insight on the overall student-athlete experience. The assembled committee offers input on the rules, regulations, and policies that affect student-athletes' lives. They serve as a direct link to the NCAA while also organizing heartfelt community service projects. These projects give a face to PNW Athletics and have included the annual Handprints for Hope event, the "Set the Expectation" baseball game, the Elemonate Cancer 5k Run/Walk, and tournament fundraisers for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The Purdue Northwest SAAC is led by Associate Athletic Director for Academic Services and Senior Woman's Administrator Jen Madgiak.
