Rebounding Haunts Pride in 78-62 Loss at MTU

HOUGHTON, Mich. -- The Pride were once again dominated on the boards as they dropped a road GLIAC contest Saturday at Michigan Tech 78-62. Leading by as many as five in the first half, the Huskies used a late run to close out the first half and continued that momentum the rest of the way as they took down PNW. Anthony Barnard did earn his second career double-double with 10 points and 15 rebounds.


Pride to Visit Michigan Tech in GLIAC Contest Saturday

GAME 10 NOTEBOOK--PNW is traveling to Houghton for the second time to face the Huskies in their home gym. The first matchup between these schools ended in a 72-46 victory for the Huskies on Feb. 3, 2018. Graduated senior Torrance Johnson carried the Pride with 23 points and eight rebounds, but All-GLIAC First Team forward Kyle Monroe had an impresive performance, posting 20 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists.


Pride Can't Overcome Hot-Shooting Wildcats

HAMMOND, Ind. -- The Purdue Northwest men's basketball team fell in a road GLIAC contest Thursday 108-69 at Northern Michigan. The Wildcats jumped out to a 17-2 lead and never relented as they hounded the Pride offensive attack.

Nunn, Rankin lead PNW Past Moody Bible 113-45

HAMMOND, Ind. – The Purdue Northwest men’s basketball team cruised to a 113-45 win over Moody Bible Institute. Frank Nunn led PNW with 18 points and Chase Rankin came up one assist shy of a double-double with 12 points and nine assists.


Pride to Host Moody Bible in Hammond Tuesday

HAMMOND, Ind. -- After opening up GLIAC conference play over the weekend, Purdue Northwest will host Moody Bible in a non-conference matchup Tuesday night at the Fitness and Recreation Center in Hammond. Tip-off is at 7 pm (CST) from John Friend Court.


Pride Fall to Grand Valley State in GLIAC Contest

HAMMOND, IND. --- The Purdue Northwest men’s basketball team was defeated Saturday 79-62 by the Grand Valley State Lakers Saturday inside the Fitness and Recreation Center on the Hammond campus. Forward Tim Gilmore paced PNW with 14 points and a pair of rebounds and assists.

LAST TIME OUT- Purdue Northwest was defeated 88-76 in its GLIAC Conference opener against Davenport University Thursday night. The Pride were plagued by turnovers and the Panthers managed to shoot 46% from 3 as they got up early and never gave up the lead. Rich Robertson scored 15 points and had five rebounds to push his scoring average back into double digits.

WESTVILLE, IND. – The Purdue Northwest men’s basketball team fell Thursday night in a hard-fought loss to the undefeated Davenport Panthers 88-76. Rich Robertson led the way for PNW with 15 points and five rebounds.


Pride Kick Off Homestand with Undefeated Davenport in GLIAC Opener

The Purdue University Northwest men's basketball team (2-3) will play host to the undefeated Davenport University Panthers (6-0) at PNW's Westville campus Thursday. Davenport joined the GLIAC along with the Pride in 2017-18 and is a fellow provisional member of the NCAA's Division II.
