HAMMOND, Ind. & WESTVILLE, Ind. - The Purdue University Northwest Athletics Department has surpassed its highest semester grade-point average with the Spring 2019 academic report. The Pride posted a new benchmark semester grade-point average of 3.30.
HAMMOND, Ind. & WESTVILLE, Ind. -- Purdue University Northwest student-athletes recorded their highest number of community service hours in program history and recorded a 99.5% participation within the department for the 2018-19 academic year.
HAMMOND & WESTVILLE, Ind. – Purdue Northwest Athletics had plenty of its student-athletes recognized when the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) announced its All-Academic & All-Academic Excellence Teams on Thursday morning following the Spring 2019 semester. The Pride had many student-athletes across five spring teams (baseball, men’s and women’s golf, men’s tennis and softball) named to either the All-Academic or All-Academic Excellence Team.
Battle Creek, Mich. – The Purdue University Northwest men’s golf team find themselves in fifth place after the second round at the GLIAC Championship that took place on Saturday at Bedford Valley Country Club. The team had a total of 607 strokes after round two, shooting for a score of 300 on Saturday.

Purdue University Northwest moved closer to completing the NCAA Division II membership process after the NCAA approved advancing the Pride into its third and final provisional year.
Purdue Northwest received notification from the NCAA Division II Membership Committee that the program successfully completed candidacy year two in 2017-18 and was recommended to advance to candidacy year three. #RoarPride
