HAMMOND, Ind. -- The Purdue University Northwest men's tennis team started off their season on the right foot, entering the win column in their first match, as the Pride defeated University of St. Francis (Ill.), 7-2, Friday.

HAMMOND, Ind. – Sophomore Ulf Grosseloh (Maximiliansau, Germany) earned second team honors and junior Moritz Gisy (Duesseldorf, Germany) claimed a spot on the honorable mention team to represent the Purdue Northwest men’s tennis team on the All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Men’s Tennis Teams when they were released by the conference Saturday afternoon.

Purdue University Northwest moved closer to completing the NCAA Division II membership process after the NCAA approved advancing the Pride into its third and final provisional year.
Purdue Northwest received notification from the NCAA Division II Membership Committee that the program successfully completed candidacy year two in 2017-18 and was recommended to advance to candidacy year three. #RoarPride
