PNW Student-Athletes Achieve Academic Excellence

HAMMOND, Ind. & WESTVILLE, Ind. - The Purdue University Northwest Athletics Department has surpassed its highest semester grade-point average with the Spring 2019 academic report. The Pride posted a new benchmark semester grade-point average of 3.30.


Softball Announces New Coaching Staff

GLIAC Announces Spring All-Academic Awards

HAMMOND & WESTVILLE, Ind. – Purdue Northwest Athletics had plenty of its student-athletes recognized when the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) announced its All-Academic & All-Academic Excellence Teams on Thursday morning following the Spring 2019 semester. The Pride had many student-athletes across five spring teams (baseball, men’s and women’s golf, men’s tennis and softball) named to either the All-Academic or All-Academic Excellence Team.


Pride Fall in Season Finale at GLIAC Tournament

SANDUSKY, Ohio. – Purdue Northwest softball concluded the 2019 season as they fell in a GLIAC Tournament Elimination game 3-0 to Saginaw Valley State. The Pride conclude the season with a 24-25 record, and finished 14-18 in conference play.


Pride Split at GLIAC Tournament, Face SVSU Saturday

SANDUSKY, Ohio – Making its second consecutive appearance in the GLIAC Tournament, the Purdue Northwest softball team rallied to get a win after losing to start the day at Sports Force Park. Davenport took the win over PNW 4-1 in the Pride’s first game of the day, before they avenged it with a 6-4 win over Ashland.


Four Student-Athletes Among All-GLIAC Softball Teams

HAMMOND, Ind. – The Purdue Northwest softball team had four players featured on the All-Conference teams for the program’s second season competing in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The Pride had two student-athletes named to the All-GLIAC Second team, as well as two women who were among the All-GLIAC honorable mentions


Softball Takes on Davenport in GLIAC Tournament Quarters Friday

HAMMOND, Ind. & WESTVILLE, Ind. -- The Purdue University Northwest softball team travels to Sandusky, Ohio to compete in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament as the Pride take on second-seeded Davenport for the first round matchup on Friday.


Pride Unable to Defeat Northwood in Regular Season Finale

HAMMOND, Ind. – The Purdue Northwest softball team dropped its final two regular season games of the season Sunday against the Northwood Timberwolves. They lost the first game 9-4, and fell 9-1 in the second game of the doubleheader in five innings.
